XP42 is an independent ITSM consulting and integration structure, based in Île-de-France and founded by Nabil Ben Khelifa. Our purpose: helping CIOs and business leaders take back control of their IT services, with a rigorous method applied without dogma.

Why XP42
IT consulting drifted away from the ground. We wanted to bring it back.
The IT consulting market is saturated with players selling frameworks like off-the-shelf products. Many organisations leave these missions with a library of slides, a certification on paper, and an unchanged operational reality. That observation is what pushed us to launch XP42.
Our conviction is simple. A successful ITSM project is measured by usage, not by documentary delivery. A CMDB that serves daily operations, a service desk that retains its users, indicators that leadership understands. That's what we stand for, on every mission.
What we stand for
Four principles we don't compromise on.
The ground before the manual.
ITIL 4 is a tool, not a religion. We keep what creates value in your context, we drop the formalism that weighs without serving. Rigour of the framework, without the weight of the ceremony.
A single point of contact, end to end.
The person who scopes is the person who delivers. No commercial handoff, no junior parachuted in. You know whom to talk to, at every step.
Vendor independence.
Our advisory earns no licence commissions. We support the implementation of market ITSM tools based on your context, with no hidden interest in the choice.
Honesty about scope.
If a request falls outside our area of expertise, we say so. If your project doesn't need us, we say so too. Extending a mission isn't our objective. Succeeding it, yes.

XP42 is deliberately a tight structure. The goal isn't to grow for the sake of growing, but to maintain a level of demand and a way of working that couldn't hold at the scale of large firms.

Nabil has supported CIOs and business leaders on their ITSM projects: ecosystem mapping, tooling selection and deployment, alignment with ITIL 4 practices. He has seen from the inside what works and what doesn't in this field, and founded XP42 to practise consulting the way he thinks it should be practised: human-scale, without a commercial funnel, with a clear point of view.

What we don't do
Our scope is also defined by what we refuse.
Many consulting structures stand out by what they promise. We prefer to be clear about what we won't do, because that's often where missions go off course.
We don't subcontract the mission.
If we sign, we deliver. No layered subcontracting, no chain of intermediary providers.
We don't bill missions we can't deliver.
If your need falls outside our scope, we tell you, and we point you to a structure that will handle it better.
We don't hide behind a framework.
ITIL 4 is a frame, not an excuse. If a recommendation doesn't fit your context, we own it and adjust.
